Prices have seen a slight increase from last week, with a 2.32% rise from the previous week’s average of $3.797 per gallon. Over the past three weeks, prices have ranged from a low of $3.797 to a high of $3.981 per gallon, reflecting a 2.41% decrease compared to the oldest week in this period.
Ohio’s gas prices are currently in line with the national average, offering drivers a relatively stable cost at the pump. For context, the most expensive gas prices in the country are found in California at $5.678 per gallon, while the cheapest are in Texas at $3.618 per gallon.
According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA), the spread between gas and diesel prices remains significant, with diesel costing notably more at the national average of $5.967 per gallon.
